by Dave McLaughlin, CEO & Co-Founder at Vsnap

Yesterday, Penn Foster College announced that they have officially selected Vsnap to integrate video messaging for their faculty and students. Here’s an excerpt from their press release:

Scranton, PA – October 10, 2012 – Penn Foster, Inc., a global leader in online education, offering programs in high school, career school and college, today announced that after an extensive review it has selected the Vsnap video messaging platform to help faculty and staff better engage and support Penn Foster’s more than 150,000 students.

This is awesome on several levels, not the least of which is the size of their student body. Talk about an opportunity to have impact! Also, this is our first major enterprise agreement, and it’s an amazing validation of our belief that forward-thinking web companies will see the value in using our simple video messaging system to create richer, more personal connections with their customers. The Penn Foster team absolutely shares our belief that making customers feel valued and supported is, in today’s business environment, the only path to truly sustainable growth.

This agreement is also awesome because it gives us real revenues, and that’s a great milestone for any startup!

We’re very proud of what we’re building at Vsnap. It’s a simple video messaging system for businesses that want easy tools to make their customers feel special. To make them feel valued. Appreciated. Loved.
