2011 MassChallenge Finalists: Where are they now? (Part 1)
By Trish Fontanilla, Community Manager at Vsnap
With the 2012 MassChallenge Awards Ceremony a month away, I started to think about our fellow 2011 Finalists and what they were up to. I do see a lot of them around the startup scene in Boston, but some have left town and some have pursued other ventures. And sometimes we’re just so excited to see each other in passing, we don’t go through the list of milestones we’ve achieved in the past year. So, I thought I’d write a few blog posts over the next month highlighting as many teams from the 2011 accelerator as I can (we startup folks can be pretty busy). Here are some sights and sounds from the first group of finalists I caught up with:

Finalta - “A better way to buy and sell equity securities.”When I emailed CEO and Founder Michael Hayes, he passed along their latest news: they’ve raised $2 million dollars out of a $3 million dollar round! Indivly - “Indivly gives you a place to discover and share your own and other’s creations. Plus, you’re rewarded with points for adding or sharing. Points can be redeemed for gift cards, ebooks, music or more.” Listen to an update from CEO and Co-Founder John Clark:
