Today it was announced that Vsnap is one of just two recipients (along with Libboo) of a new fast-track funding partnership between the Massachusetts Technology Development Corporation (MTDC) and MassChallenge. (Here’s more background on the program). We’re fired up about this news and grateful for MTDC’s leadership in helping fast-growth startups launch and grow and create jobs in Massachusetts. According to their site, MTDC-backed companies currently employ more than 7,500 people in Massachusetts. That’s pretty impressive.

We also want to thank the MassChallenge team for their leadership and support. This is an organization that helps startups win. If you’re considering applying this year, just do it. These are good people, and we all need good people if we’re going to be successful in changing the world.  

Last but not least, let me just give a big shout-out to our team here at Vsnap. This is an amazing crew and I’m inspired to be part of it. We’re making it super-easy for really customer-centered companies to send short video messages as a more personal alternative to email. It’s about giving you a better way to engage and move your prospects. And not just better as in it feels nicer. We’re actually measuring a major lift in the rate at which recipients of vsnaps take action, as compared to the recipients of email outreach.
