At the MassChallenge Awards Ceremony, Life is good’s Chief Executive Optimist Bert Jacobs spoke about his unique perspective on business and life. I kept thinking about the impact one visionary company can have over the masses. Not only did Bert and Life is good create an awesome brand, they created a movement.
 
My enthusiasm in joining the Vsnap team and vision as a Business Development Manager is focused on the opportunity in creating our own movement to reduce the noise and increase the signal in our interactions with friends, family, customers, partners, and so on.
 
Bert concluded his speech with a story about refusing to follow the consultants’ advice to spend millions on traditional advertising campaigns. Instead, Life is good started doing more for kids. Why? “I just wanted to see how far we could take our Little League team,” Bert said.
